Movies & Books Part 22
moviegirl15

Hi, I thought I'd do another update. I bought a few movies today: Stranger Than Fiction, Before Sunrise, and a documentary called Capturing The Friedmans.

The last movies I've seen were Clueless, Steel Magnolias, Father Of The Bride (the 1991 Steve Martin remake), Inception (great movie, one of my favorites of this year), The Kids Are All Right (awesome movie, definitely one of my favorites of this year), and Wayne's World.

I probably won't start reading any new books until January. A few of the books I'm going to try to start reading in the new year are By Nightfall by Michael Cunningham, The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer, and My Booky Wook by Russell Brand.

Movies & Books Part 21
moviegirl15

Hi. I thought I'd do another update. I went out of town a few days ago and I bought some DVDs (The Kids Are All Right, It's A Wonderful Life, The Holiday, and Some Like It Hot), Season 5 of The Simpsons, the soundtrack to the movie Moulin Rouge, and some Christmas presents for my family.

Three days ago, my sister and I went to see Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1 in theatres and it was great. It was a little more intense than I thought it would be, but I'm really excited about Part 2 coming out next year.

Other than Harry Potter, the last movies I saw were Angels In The Outfield (I hadn't seen it since I was a kid), The Preacher's Wife (another movie I hadn't seen since I was a kid), Toy Story, and A Knight's Tale.

I finished reading Wishin' And Hopin': A Christmas Story by Wally Lamb a few weeks ago and just finished You Better Not Cry: Stories For Christmas by Augusten Burroughs today. They were both still really good. I'm probably going to wait until January to read some new books.

Movies & Books Part 20
moviegirl15

Hi, I thought I'd write another update. The last movies I've seen are Be Kind Rewind, Planes Trains & Automobiles (great movie), American Splendor (It was okay. I wouldn't see it again, though), The Dark Knight (one of my favorite movies), The English Patient (pretty good, but I think I'll have to watch it again sometime to try to really understand all of it), A Few Good Men, and The American President (great movie).

Right now I'm reading Wishin' And Hopin': A Christmas Story by Wally Lamb. I read it after I got it for Christmas last year and it's one of my new favorite books. I just felt like reading it again since it's getting close to Christmas. After that, I'm probably going to read You Better Not Cry: Stories For Christmas by Augusten Burroughs. That was the first book by Augusten Burroughs that I'd read. I read it last year and it's another one of my new favorite books.
